BENDIGO Mazda has thrown its support behind the BFNL netball season.
The car dealer has become a sponsor of the competition until 2015.
AFL Central Victoria regional operations manager Justin Abrams said the commitment of Bendigo Mazda would help enable the sport to grow within the region.
He said the new partnership would allow the BFNL to assist clubs as well as the potential purchase of a new electronic scoreboard at the Queen Elizabeth Oval, which will be used for the finals series.
“We are excited about the relationship with Bendigo Mazda,” Abrams said.
“Their contribution will have a direct benefit and impact the BFNL netball competition.”
Bendigo Mazda dealer principal Richard Opie said he was delighted to partner with netball in the AFL Central Victoria region.
“We are excited that the contribution we have made will improve netball for AFL Central Victoria and in particular the BFNL netball competition,” he said.
Round one of the 2014 BFNL season is on April 5 and 6.
